Viktor Orban’s football foundation gets most football grants

While Football Federation gets the biggest sum from the new granting method of ‘spectacular sports’ giving tax-allowance for sponsoring companies, the most favoured team appears to be Felcsút, local team of Viktor Orban’s native village ran by his own foundation. Felcsút trains the second-line of the Prime Minister’s favourite Székesfehérvár-based Videoton team and got the one-fifth of all the money went to 7 football teams in the last six months. While Felcsút was granted over 2.8 billion HUF, Debrecen is placed second on our list with 526 million HUF. It is also known, that the Orban-related team became able to build up its new stadium by the new sponsoring method.
