We go to court for E.On papers over rejected FOIA request

According to news, state owned electricity works MVM signed an overpriced contract in order to buy E.On’s natural gas trader and container companies. We filed a freedom of information request to the Hungarian State Holding Company (MNV Zrt.) to learn about MVM’s deal but they rejected the answer. We also asked the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Development Ministry, MVM and MNV to send us every documents which indicates the market price of E.On Földgáz Storage Földgáztároló Zrt. and E.On Földgáz Trade Földgázkereskedő Zrt. The supposed 350 billion HUF transactions could be measured by the knowledge of these data. After MNV rejected our FOIA request, we went to court.
