Court ruled against atlatszo.hu in the State Opera case

Atlatszo.hu filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of National Resources, since the ministry denied a freedom of information request for a report about a financial investigation. A Ministerial Commissioner stated that the report about investigating a billion-HUF fraud at the Hungarian State Opera cannot be published, since it serves the decision-making process. Decision of the Budapest Court of First Instance was more than surprising. It says the report as a whole is not public, atlatszo.hu has to specify the requested data. Of course it is not possible, since the report is not available. Anyway, atlatszo.hu appeals against the decision.
